CAPACITY CLASS / 30 TON
30 Ton Truck Scale for Regional Haul and Construction
The 30 ton class sits between yard duty and full logistics duty: regional distribution, construction material haul and municipal fleets that mix rigid trucks with the occasional heavier load.
A 30 ton truck weighing scale is the practical choice when a site outgrows a 20 ton deck but does not need the widened platform of the 50 ton mainstream class. Regional haulers carrying blocks, steel, timber or bulk construction material land here, as do municipal waste and utility fleets.
The construction is unchanged: U-section steel, a fully welded closed cavity, Sa2.5 shot blasting and a double-sided, double-layer coating measured at >= 120 um dry film. The difference is the specified rating and, where wheelbases vary, the option of ZDG-type modular platforms that let a longer truck span two sections without overhanging a single deck.
Because this class is often bought by a contractor for a project with a finite life, we also discuss portable and axle-load alternatives honestly. If the site will move in two years, the WIM pad line may be the better specification; if it is permanent, the fixed deck wins on cycle life.

FAQ
30 ton class questions
What is the typical lead time for a truck weighing scale?
Around 60 days from a confirmed drawing and order. The slot covers fabrication, surface treatment, load-cell fitting, factory calibration and packing. We confirm the exact window with the quotation rather than printing a blanket promise.
Can you build a non-standard deck size?
Yes. The published 3,500 x 1,000 mm and 4,200 x 1,000 mm decks are our starting points, and ZDG-type modular platforms let us match unusual axle spacing. Send the vehicle wheelbase and site footprint and we return a dimensioned proposal.
What accuracy should I expect?
For dynamic weigh-in-motion the stated figure is +/- 0.5% of gross weight, with a single-axle class of E under the manual caliber. Static weighbridge accuracy is confirmed against the issued drawing during factory calibration for the chosen configuration.
How is the deck protected against corrosion?
Steel is blasted to Sa2.5, then coated with a double-sided, double-layer system measured at a dry film of at least 120 um. The fully welded closed cavity removes the internal pockets where water usually collects.
What should I include in a quote request?
Gross vehicle weight, axle configuration, deck length, pit or pitless preference, static or in-motion weighing, site country, destination port, preferred incoterm and estimated quantity. The more of these we have, the tighter the specification we return.
