SERVICE / LIFECYCLE
Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance
A weighbridge is only as accurate as its foundation and alignment. Our in-house engineering, manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams stay on the project from drawing to calibration.
Most weighing errors blamed on the instrument are actually installation errors: a foundation that settled, a deck that is not level, a cable run that picked up noise. Because we keep engineering, manufacturing, installation and maintenance in one team, there is a single point of responsibility from the issued drawing through to the first calibration.
For static decks we supply foundation drawings, alignment tolerances, wiring diagrams and pit or pitless options. The 58 mm WIM plate changes the civil picture considerably: it is direct-buried, so the pit and much of the drainage work disappear. On turnkey projects our own installation and commissioning crew handles the build; on distributor-led projects we provide the same documentation set and remote commissioning guidance.
After handover the maintenance team supports calibration checks, spare load cells, indicator replacement and remote diagnostics. The line is trusted in 70+ countries with an annual output of 10,000+ units, so the spares and the documentation are designed for sites far from the factory, not just for local service calls.

PROCESS / SITE
From drawing to first weighing
- Site survey — Confirm soil, drainage, approach length and vehicle wheelbase.
- Drawing issue — Release foundation and layout drawings for approval.
- Fabrication — Build the deck to the agreed capacity and module count.
- Civil works — Prepare the pit or the shallow recess for a direct-bury WIM plate.
- Set and align — Level the deck, fit load cells and route shielded cabling.
- Calibrate — Verify against test loads and record the configuration.
- Handover — Train operators and pass over the documentation pack.
Where the site allows it, a direct-bury 58 mm WIM plate removes most of the civil works and the drainage headaches that come with a deep pit. We will tell you honestly when a conventional static deck is still the better choice.

FAQ
Installation and service questions
Do you provide installation guidance?
Our own installation and commissioning teams handle turnkey projects, and for distributor-led builds we supply foundation drawings, alignment tolerances, wiring diagrams and remote commissioning guidance.
How do you handle after-sales service?
Our in-house maintenance team supports calibration checks, spare load cells, indicator replacement and remote diagnostics. Distributors receive the same documentation set we use internally.
What is the typical lead time for a truck weighing scale?
Around 60 days from a confirmed drawing and order. The slot covers fabrication, surface treatment, load-cell fitting, factory calibration and packing. We confirm the exact window with the quotation rather than printing a blanket promise.
Should I choose a portable or a fixed weighbridge?
A fixed U-section deck suits permanent high-cycle sites. Portable and axle-load pads suit temporary works, enforcement checks or sites where a civil pit is not viable. We quote both against the same spec sheet.
Does the WIM plate need a concrete pit?
No. The 58 mm sensor plate is designed for direct burial, which removes most of the civil works. It is rated IP68 for the buried environment.
