TRUCK WEIGHING SCALE / ENGINEERING DATA SHEET
Truck Weighing Scales, Engineered to the Spec Sheet
We are the spec-sheet people. A weighbridge is a twenty-year asset, so instead of slogans we publish the weld detail, the coating thickness, the fatigue test count and the deck dimensions. The drawing is the only honest sales pitch.
Jiajia TruckScale builds truck weighing scales and weigh-in-motion systems for distributors, engineering contractors and procurement teams across South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Every machine leaves our line in Yantai, Shandong, China as a documented assembly: U-section steel, a fully welded closed cavity, Sa2.5 blasted surfaces and a measured dry film thickness.
Our standard deck is 3,500 x 1,000 mm, with a 4,200 x 1,000 mm widened version and ZDG-type modular combinations when a fleet mixes wheelbases. Capacity classes cover 20, 30, 50 and 100 ton. For traffic that cannot stop, the same discipline applies to a 58 mm direct-bury plate scale rated IP68, 150% overload and +/- 0.5% dynamic accuracy.
This site is arranged so you can go straight to the number you need: choose a capacity, read how the deck is built, understand what drives price, then request the full specification and a quotation. We deliberately print no price here. A truck scale price without a deck size, a foundation type and an incoterm is not a quote, it is a guess.

SECTION 01 / THE NUMBERS
What you are actually buying
Procurement teams comparing weighbridges often receive brochures that agree on nothing. We start from a single specification table so that a 50 ton quote from us can be lined up against any other offer line by line. The figures below are the nominal values of our standard build; the issued drawing governs the final machine.
| Parameter | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Deck construction | U-section steel, fully welded closed cavity | Torsionally stiff, no open water traps |
| Standard deck | 3,500 x 1,000 mm | Width x length, nominal |
| Widened deck | 4,200 x 1,000 mm | For longer wheelbase fleets |
| Modular configuration | ZDG-type multi-platform | Matches mixed axle spacing |
| Surface preparation | Sa2.5 shot blasting | Applied before coating |
| Coating system | Double-sided, double-layer paint | Dry film >= 120 um |
| Fatigue validation | 2,000,000 cycles | Third-party test |
| Sensor thickness | 58 mm | Direct-bury, no civil pit |
| Ingress protection | IP68 | Buried environment rating |
| Overload capacity | 150% | Of rated load |
| Dynamic accuracy | +/- 0.5% | Gross weight, per manual Class 1 |
| Single-axle accuracy | Class E | Per manual caliber |
| Traffic speed | 1-100 km/h | Weigh-in-motion range |
| Measurement method | Full-wheel load integration | Cancels eccentric / irregular driving error |
| Lead time | ~60 days | From confirmed drawing |
| Minimum order | 1 unit | MOQ 1 |
| Payment | T/T | Telegraphic transfer |
| Trade terms | EXW / FCA / FOB / CNF / CIF / DAP / DDP | Incoterms on request |

FIG. 01 — Plan view, modular deck, not to scale
Trusted in 70+ countries, with an annual output of 10,000+ units. Lead time is around 60 days, minimum order is 1 unit, payment is T/T, and we quote EXW through DDP. Our own engineering, manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams stay on the project from drawing to commissioning.
SECTION 02 / TWO LINES
Two product lines, one engineering standard
Static truck weighing scales
Fully welded U-section closed-cavity decks for permanent high-cycle sites. Sized at 20, 30, 50 or 100 ton, with widened and ZDG modular platforms. The structure has passed a 2,000,000-cycle third-party fatigue test and is protected by Sa2.5 blasting plus a double-sided, double-layer coating at a dry film of at least 120 um.
Weigh-in-motion systems
A 58 mm plate sensor that can be buried directly without a civil pit, rated IP68 with 150% overload. Full-wheel load integration cancels eccentric and irregular driving error, returning +/- 0.5% dynamic accuracy across 1-100 km/h. Add licence plate recognition, an LED information board and a data acquisition subsystem for enforcement and unattended sites.
SECTION 03 / APPLICATIONS
Where these scales work
The same platform is specified differently for a quarry and a distribution centre. These are the environments our decks and WIM subsystems are routinely engineered for:
Toll and highway
Highway entrances and toll plazas use WIM plate scales with licence plate capture, LED overload prompts and 7x24 unattended operation.
Ports and logistics parks
Container drayage and gate control need repeatable gross weights, widened decks and multi-site data management.
Mines and quarries
Heavy haul trucks, high axle loads and abrasive dust push the 100 ton class, the closed cavity and the 150% overload margin to their design case.
Overload enforcement
Limit-load stations pair the WIM subsystem with image capture, video linkage and anti-cheating detection for defensible records.
Airport cargo
Cargo-area weighpads handle mixed freight vehicles where a pit is impractical and fast throughput matters.
Batching and aggregates
Smaller 20 and 30 ton decks track inbound sand, gravel and cement against outbound ready-mix loads.

SECTION 04 / SELECT
Pick a capacity class
Each tonnage page carries its own H1, its own application narrative and its own specification table, and links back to this hub and to its siblings.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask first
What is the typical lead time for a truck weighing scale?
Around 60 days from a confirmed drawing and order. The slot covers fabrication, surface treatment, load-cell fitting, factory calibration and packing. We confirm the exact window with the quotation rather than printing a blanket promise.
Can you build a non-standard deck size?
Yes. The published 3,500 x 1,000 mm and 4,200 x 1,000 mm decks are our starting points, and ZDG-type modular platforms let us match unusual axle spacing. Send the vehicle wheelbase and site footprint and we return a dimensioned proposal.
What accuracy should I expect?
For dynamic weigh-in-motion the stated figure is +/- 0.5% of gross weight, with a single-axle class of E under the manual caliber. Static weighbridge accuracy is confirmed against the issued drawing during factory calibration for the chosen configuration.
What is the minimum order quantity?
One unit. We routinely ship single machines for pilot sites as well as multi-unit frames for parks and ports.
Which payment and trade terms do you work with?
Payment is by T/T. We quote EXW, FCA, FOB, CNF, CIF, DAP or DDP so the comparison stays transparent against your landed-cost model.
